New Jawa 350 launched in India at Rs. 2.14 lakh: Jawa Yezdi has launched the new Jawa 350 in India priced at Rs. ₹ 2.14 lakh (ex-showroom). It is a heavily modified version of the Jawa Standard and a premium of around Rs.12,000 is being asked for it.
The biggest change on this motorcycle is the replacement of the smaller 294cc engine with a larger 334cc, liquid-cooled, one-cylinder engine that produces 22bhp and 28.2Nm of peak torque. It comes with a six-speed gearbox which also includes an assist and slipper clutch.
The dimensions of the bike have also changed. Ground clearance has increased significantly at 178 mm and seat height is also at 790 mm. The wheelbase has also become longer at 1,449 mm. For your reference, its previous ground clearance, seat height, and wheelbase were 165 mm, 765 mm, and 1,368 mm, respectively.
Apart from this, the weight of the bike has increased from 182 kg to 194 kg. The reason for all these changes includes a new dual-cradle chassis that, to improve stability, the company has used wider tires – a 100/90 section at the front and a 130/80 section at the rear, with a diameter of 18-17 inches now. is also unchanged.
Jawa 350 also has a slight difference in terms of design. Although the overall space and silhouette are a mixed bag, subtle changes make it look stronger now. The tires are thicker, both fenders are more pronounced, and the seats now feature thicker foam. Additionally, the company has introduced a new Mystic Orange paint scheme while the maroon and black trim has been retained.
The Jawa 350 is still set to compete with the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Benelli Imperiale 400, and the Honda CB350.
